Bagel Run 5K/10K/13.1
SAM OCT 10
The Bagel Run, held in the Chicago/Evanston area, centers on a straightforward concept: run for the carbohydrates, then enjoy bagels afterward. Participants can select from 5K, 10K, and half-marathon distances, alongside a Family 1 Mile Fun Run, accommodating choices from a brief family activity to a more demanding race. A virtual participation option exists, and for the primary distances, eco-registration is offered to those who prefer not to receive a shirt. This event is a smaller, privately organized run, with each wave limited and closed upon reaching capacity. The format appeals to individuals seeking a relaxed event rather than a large-scale city race: all running paces are accepted, participants have the option to run or walk, and children under 18 may participate with a guardian. Should an in-person wave be full, the available alternatives are the virtual run or joining the waitlist.
9th Annual Monster Dash - presented by the Now You SEE Me Foundation
DIM OCT 25
Monster Dash begins at Comanche Park in San Antonio, centered around Halloween. Runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes, and virtual participants are welcome. The event features a half marathon, 10K, 5K, a 5K wheelchair division, and a 1-mile run/walk/roll, plus a virtual option. It is hosted by the Now You SEE Me Foundation, with proceeds supporting spinal cord injury research and aid for Texas cyclists and runners who have sustained life-altering injuries during training. The longer races and the 5K wheelchair division provide water stops and Gatorade. Overall, masters, and age-group awards are given for multiple distances. The day includes a costume contest for participants, and pets can also compete in the costume contest for an additional fee. All finishers get an event shirt, medal, a Chick-fil-A meal card, Las Palapas breakfast tacos, and post-race drinks from Heineken and Dos Equis.
Two Rivers Half Marathon and Ryan Bielke 5K
DIM OCT 25
The Two Rivers Half Marathon and Ryan Bielke 5K is a late-October race series on River Road in New Braunfels, Texas, featuring a half marathon, a 5K run/walk, and a kids' fun run. The event is known as The Prettiest Race in Texas, with the half marathon beginning early in the morning at Mountain Valley Middle School in Sattler. The half marathon follows a point-to-point course along the Guadalupe River, concluding at KL Ranch Camp Cliffside on River Road. The Two Rivers races utilize the same courses as the former Chosen Half Marathon. Proceeds continue to benefit Chosen, with portions also supporting the Today I Get To Run Scholarship Fund, established in honor of Ryan Bielke. Participants receive professional race photos and a shirt, along with post-race food. Half marathon finishers are awarded a medal. Awards are presented to overall, masters, and age-group winners, excluding half marathon runners aged 14 and under.
New Braunfels Half Marathon, 10K-5K
DIM NOV 15
The New Braunfels Half Marathon, 10K-5K is a Texas running event held at the Stars and Stripes Drive-In on Kroesche Lane in New Braunfels. Participants can select the half marathon, 10K, or 5K, with all distances starting and ending at the drive-in. The race utilizes certified courses on country roads, featuring a fast, flat profile suitable for those aiming for a personal best and those new to the distance. The event attracts local Texas runners, from novices to elites, and is presented as a Texas Running Community event rather than a specific club function. Each runner receives a tech shirt and a finisher’s medal; half marathon finishers also get a long-sleeve shirt. Volunteers and course support are provided, and the finish area includes food, drinks, and beer for participants aged 21 and over.
Turkey Trails - San Antonio
DIM NOV 29
Turkey Trails - San Antonio is a Thanksgiving-themed running event in San Antonio offering options for nearly every pace and age: a 50-meter Kids Dash, an untimed 1 Mile, a 5K, a 10K, a Half Marathon, and a virtual race. The 5K is 3.1 miles, the 10K is 6.2 miles, and the Half Marathon is 13.1 miles, allowing families to bring young children while longer-distance runners still have a full race option. The Kids Dash is untimed for ages 10 and under. The main races use chip timing with live results and awards. The event has a casual holiday atmosphere with finisher medals, designer shirts, custom bibs for most distances, free photos, and treats at the finish line. A Volunteer then Run entry allows people to help at the event and still run afterward. Youth pricing is available for 5K and 10K runners age 12 and under.
2026 - San Antonio Marathon
VEN DÉC 4
The San Antonio Marathon is a city marathon run in the heart of San Antonio, organized by San Antonio Sports. It was created in partnership with the City of San Antonio, and the event also collaborates with Visit San Antonio and Centro. The race is centered around downtown San Antonio, avoiding a suburban start-and-finish. Its first edition saw thousands of runners and joggers cross the finish line, indicating its appeal to both casual participants and dedicated marathoners.
2027 River Road Run Half Marathon, 10miler SKYDOME, 10k and 5k
SAM JAN 9
2027 San Marcos Half Marathon 10k and 5k
DIM FÉV 7
The San Marcos Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k offer runners three distance options in San Marcos. The half marathon is noted as one of the more challenging routes. Its course combines difficult hills with flatter sections, making it more than just a straightforward road race from beginning to end. The half marathon follows Texas's oldest half marathon course, providing the event with a degree of historical distinction. All finishers, regardless of distance, will receive a medal. Awards are presented to the top four finishers in each race category. Age-group results are determined by chip time, as participants begin in waves.
Beer Garden Run 2027
SAM AVR 3
SARR Fiesta Mission Run
DIM AVR 18
The SARR Fiesta Mission Run is a San Antonio race series focused on the city’s historic Spanish missions. Each edition highlights one mission, with Mission Concepción featured this year. Distances include a Kids 1K, 5K, 10K, and half marathon, welcoming both runners and walkers. The event began as a 10K-only race and is now the longest-running event organized by the San Antonio RoadRunners. Its 10K holds the distinction of being the oldest 10K in San Antonio. The designated charity partner is Ainsley’s Angels of America, an organization that enables individuals with disabilities to participate in endurance events through community support and inclusion.
2027 Siesta Half Marathon, 10K and 5k
DIM AVR 25
The Siesta Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K are road races held in San Antonio, Texas. All three distances are part of the Texas Hill Country race series. The event takes place along the River Walk south of Mission County Park, offering participants a city route connected to San Antonio’s river corridor, rather than a remote trail or track. The race format accommodates various runner preferences on the same day: the half marathon for distance runners, the 10K as a mid-distance option, and the 5K for a shorter run. Registration provides a technical shirt in men's or women's sizing, along with snacks and adult beverages post-race.
Siesta Half Marathon
DIM AVR 25
The Siesta Half Marathon is a daytime race in San Antonio, based at Mission County Park on Padre Drive. It offers three distances: a half marathon, 10K, and 5K, so runners can choose anything from a short run to the full 13.1-mile distance. The races are part of the Texas Hill Country race series. The course runs along the riverwalk south of Mission County Park, keeping the route tied to the San Antonio River area rather than city streets alone. Registration includes a technical shirt in men's or women's sizing, plus snacks and adult beverages after the run. The event is pitched as a Fiesta-season run, with the name playing off the idea of kicking off Fiesta with a Siesta.
