DEF Dash 5K 2026

The DEF Dash 5K is a live, in-person 5K run or walk held at Barnes Memorial Park in Dedham, starting at 11:00 AM. The Dedham Education Foundation established it following 10 years of Bernie’s Run, and the event has taken place annually since 2019. Hundreds of runners, walkers, family, and friends gather for a community race focused on schools, not solely a competition for runners. The day benefits the Dedham Education Foundation, Dedham Public Schools, and local students, offering age-category prizes, award ceremonies, food, drink, and music post-race.
