Happy Girls Sisters 2026

Happy Girls Sisters is the Sisters, Oregon stop in the Happy Girls Run series, a women’s running series from Lay It Out Events with races in Bend, Spokane, and Sisters. The Sisters event offers runners a choice of 5K, 10K, or a longer trail race, suitable for first-timers, road runners, and those who prefer dirt trails. The race is designed for women of all ages and abilities, emphasizing shared time with friends, sisters, and running groups over an elite-only focus. The trail race utilizes the Peterson Ridge Trail system in the Deschutes National Forest, featuring single-track sections. The 5K and 10K courses follow roads through downtown Sisters. All distances conclude at the FivePine campus, finishing under tall Ponderosa pines. The trail race has a 500-runner limit and sells out annually, making it the distance requiring the most advance planning.
