Since 2012, this race has earned the title 'The Best 4 Mile Race Between Two Cities.' The course runs through city streets, crosses the Bob Michel Bridge over the Illinois River, explores the East Peoria River Trail and Levee District, and returns across the river via the Cedar Street Bridge to finish at Running Central. Afterward, enjoy a post-race celebration with hot food from Olive Garden, including breadsticks and pasta, and music from a live band.
