Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Charlotte June

Medal Madness Charlotte begins at Mallard Creek Playground, located across from Mallard Creek Elementary School, and provides three race distances: 5K, 10K, and half marathon. This is a road-style out-and-back event featuring a hill at both the start and finish. Even the shorter races include this distinct characteristic. All participants must register via RunSignup prior to race day, as on-site registration is unavailable. Packet pickup will occur shortly before the event begins. The 5K follows the out-and-back route one time, the 10K completes it twice, and the half marathon utilizes its own out-and-back course four times. The race has a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes, a detail most relevant for half marathoners navigating the repeated course. Participants will receive medals, and awards will be presented. Series points are recorded, and a best costume award is also offered, indicating the event caters to more than just those focused on their race time.
