This annual 5K honors Nicole Moniz, a social worker and community volunteer who championed mental health. The race supports the First We Live Foundation, created in her memory, to raise awareness and fund access to integrated mental health programs and services. The foundation focuses on those who encounter societal barriers, especially youth and individuals in helping professions. Inspired by the core belief that "first we live," the race helps ensure everyone has the chance to live fully and seek the help they need.
