Strides For Service 5k/10k 2026

The Strides For Service 5K/10K begins and ends at Discovery Meadow in Downtown San Jose. Options include a 5K, 10K, a kids run, and a virtual race. The 5K and 10K courses are fast and flat, suitable for many runners and walkers. The kids run takes place within Discovery Meadow for ages 2 to 7. Participants can register individually or form/join a team. The event features a fundraising program, Run It Forward. All funds raised go to Valley Health Foundation, supporting Silicon Valley public healthcare facilities and programs. This includes equipment and training for staff, wellness resources for families, and health projects for underserved communities. Registration for the 5K and 10K includes a shirt, bib, and finisher medal. Participants aged 21 and older also receive a beer or mimosa.
