Summit Mountain Challenge 2027

The Summit Mountain Challenge is a six-race summer mountain bike series held on the trails of Summit County, Colorado. Races occur on Wednesday evenings from May through August, offering long, short, and kids course options. This allows riders to select a distance suited to their abilities and experience. The riding features fast trails and significant climbs, concluding with the Breckenridge Classic. To be eligible for overall series standings, participants must complete five of the six races within the same course category. Breckenridge Recreation now manages the series, having acquired it from Jeff Wescott of Maverick Sports Promotions. They continue his commitment to fun, affordable, and well-organized community racing.
