SUPER SUNDAY 5K AND 2K PUP STRUT 2027

The Super Sunday 5K and 2K Pup Strut takes place in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, centered around Valentine’s Day, football season, and a dog-friendly outdoor morning. Participants can run the 5K (3.1 miles) or walk it, while those with leashed dogs can opt for the 2K Pup Strut. This event is not focused on prizes or age-group awards; it is designed for neighbors, families, casual runners, and dog owners to share the same start area. The day features a DJ before the race, finisher medals, post-race food for 5K finishers, and treats for pets and people. Dogs completing the Pup Strut receive a doggie donut at the finish line, providing a small reward for the shorter event. The course lacks water stops, so participants should prepare accordingly, though water is available post-race. The race proceeds in rain or snow, but extreme cold may cause a postponement.
