The Woodlands Marathon 2027

The Woodlands Marathon is a Saturday race weekend in The Woodlands, Texas, featuring a marathon, half marathon, 10K, relay, 5K, and 2K Fun Run. The marathon was revived for the local community after nearly twenty years, now catering to both serious runners and those preferring shorter distances. The marathon and half marathon traverse Town Center, loop the community on flat roads, and conclude beside The Woodlands Waterway. The course is fast, averaging as the fastest marathon course in Texas and ranking among the country’s 25 fastest, with approximately 11% of registered runners achieving Boston qualifying times. Professional runners compete for an elite prize purse, and local support is evident through traditions such as the Cheer Challenge. Since its revival, the event has generated over $1.3 million for nonprofits.
