Treat Trot - Chicago 2026

Treat Trot Greater Chicago is a spring running event featuring 5K, 10K, 15K races, an untimed 1 Mile walk, and a Kids Dash for children 10 and under. Race morning begins early, with packet pickup from 5:30 to 6:45 am and the main race start at 7:00 am following the National Anthem. The Kids Dash is a short, untimed run; children can participate for free if they opt out of the shirt, bib, and medal package. The longer distances are chip-timed with live results, and awards can be collected at the registration tent immediately after runners finish. Standard race entries include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The Kids Dash includes a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and its own medal. The event is family-friendly: youth pricing is available for the 5K and 10K, finishers receive free photos and snacks, and the range of distances allows first-timers, children, walkers, and runners aiming for a personal best to find a suitable option.
