VanderDash 2027

VanderDash is a school fundraiser race in Dunwoody, Georgia, featuring a chip-timed 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Organized by the Vanderlyn PTO, proceeds from entry fees and sponsorships support the school, funding playground updates, classroom enhancements, and programs for students, teachers, and staff. The event is designed for Vanderlyn families and runners alike. Students can register under their teacher for a grade-level class contest, with the class achieving the highest participation percentage earning a popsicle party. Parents, relatives, community members, and sponsors are also welcome. Family sponsorships offer benefits such as multiple entries, shirts, a yard sign, and recognition on the race website. The 5K is chip timed and recognized as a certified Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race event. The Atlanta Track Club lists it on its community calendar.
