Starting from the Showground, this event has the feel of a local run with a clear purpose: 100% of entry fees support local children's charities. The course follows Coffs Creek Walkway, the Botanic Gardens, and Jetty Foreshores, offering a "perfect blend of coastal scenery and urban parkland" without being overly demanding. Underfoot conditions are road, mostly flat with mild undulations, allowing beginners to participate comfortably. The most enjoyable sections are reportedly the waterfront parts, featuring "refreshing sea breezes" and "spectacular views from North and South Walls." The garden sections provide "shaded respite on warmer mornings" before the finish back at the Showground, where participants receive a medal.
