Red Ribbon Run
Vasárnap, november 29, 2026 · Melbourne, Ausztrália
Versenyről
Princes Park provides the setting: familiar paths, open lawns, and that relaxed park-run atmosphere where the day isn't taken too seriously. Thorne Harbour Health’s Red Ribbon Run is a community-driven, non-competitive event linked to World AIDS Day, focused on solidarity as much as pace. It also has a clear purpose: raising essential funds to support people living with HIV and, in Janet Jukes’ words, “running towards a future with no new transmissions of HIV.”
Participants will run, jog, walk, cheer, and support each other, including regular runners, friends, family, colleagues, people living with HIV, and First Nations community members. The routes circle scenic Princes Park at your own pace, with the atmosphere more akin to a local fundraiser than a competitive race. Following the run, the runners' village offers food, drinks, entertainment, community services, and leaders, continuing the World AIDS Day spirit beyond the finish.
