The Sturt Gorge Trail Run offers a genuine trail morning, not a refined road event, described as a “highlight of the On The Trails Running Series” focused on dirt, rock, scrub, and views across the surrounding hillsides. Underfoot, expect varied terrain: narrow trail, creek beds, climbs through the slopes, and sections with “scrambling over boulders and scenic creek lines.” Runners, walkers, beginners, and experienced trail runners participate, but wet feet are expected at the creek crossings.
