Danst & Sjanst Run

The Danst & Sjanst Run is a recreational evening nature run held in Zevendonk. The start area opens at 5 PM, with the first race commencing at 6 PM. Participants can select from 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, or 15 km distances. A 400 m kids run is scheduled before the longer races begin. The shorter distances utilize a 2.5 km loop. The 15 km route extends through the adjacent forest and countryside. The course incorporates paved roads, unpaved sections, and a brief single-track segment, offering a relaxed trail-style event rather than a road race. Spectators are welcome without charge, and refreshments will be available. Results will be timed and published post-event. The evening concludes in a party tent featuring a DJ. Note that changing rooms and showers are not provided; runners are advised to arrive prepared to run and stay for the post-race activities.
