The Semi-marathon de Genappe is a new road-running event in Genappe, Walloon Brabant, Belgium. The first edition is scheduled for June, starting and finishing at Route du Sucre, 1471 Genappe. Participants can select from 5 km, 10 km, or the half marathon distance of 21.1 km, catering to both short-distance runners and those seeking a longer road race.
The route follows the streets of Genappe, offering an urban setting with expected spectators. Trop's Sport is organizing the event, aiming for a friendly, sporty, and festive atmosphere, not exclusively elite. As this is the first edition, there is limited history, but the core purpose is clear: a local Walloon Brabant race establishing a regular community running day with three accessible distances.
