Middle Path Trail Race

The Middle Path Trail Race begins at 7:00 AM at Kawartha Nordic Ski Club in North Kawartha, Ontario. It utilizes the ski club’s trail network for a low-elevation trail race. This event is part of both the Outrace Series and the Athletics Ontario Trillium Running series, offering race options based on a 13 km loop and a 26 km two-lap version. The 13 km race follows a fast, winding single loop of the ultra course. The 26 km race covers the same route twice, with additional aid stations. The event also features a kids’ run allowing parents to accompany their children. The organizing committee emphasizes accessibility for all athletes and environmental care as core aspects of its mission. The race supports the Compassion Project through fundraising. Local sponsors include Accuped Orthodics and Swiss Bear.
