The Erlanger Winterwaldlauf is a winter forest running event in Erlangen, Germany. Its race offerings include a 400 m Bambini run for children up to age six, and trail and road options around 5 km, 6.3 km, 10 km, and 12.6 km. The primary trail routes are the Speed-Trail, a single lap of approximately 6.3 km for participants aged 14 and older, and the City-Trail, two laps totaling about 12.6 km for those aged 16 and older.
The event caters to a broad local audience, not a specific runner type. Children can compete in a 1.7 km race for the Johnny-Pokal, while teenagers have a 5 km Jugendlauf. Adults may select a 5 km Fitnesslauf, a 5 km walking event, the Sparkassenlauf covering 10 km, or a two-person Run & Hike relay consisting of two 5 km laps. The relay course is officially measured by AIMS. The event supports a charity cause and is organized by SG Siemens Erlangen Leichtathletik e.V. under the patronage of Erlangen mayor Jörg Volleth.
