Hardtwaldlauf 2026

The Hardtwaldlauf begins and ends on the cinder track at the MTV grounds in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg. This Sunday running event features officially measured 5 km and 10 km races, allowing performances to be recorded for official rankings. The course combines forest trails in the Hardtwald with paved sections, and marshals are stationed along the route. Runners share the forest paths with other users and are expected to yield space. Timing is managed by the Race Result passive system, using disposable transponders affixed to each bib. In addition to the two main distances, children’s races and age-specific awards are offered.
