Tangstedter Dorf- und Storchenlauf 2026

The Tangstedter Dorflauf & Storchenlauf is an annual running event. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, September 12th. The event features various races including a 200m balance bike race for children up to 5 years old (helmet required), a 2km children's run for ages 2016-2023, a 4km short course, a 4km Nordic Walking event, a 9km long course, and a 21.1km half marathon. There is also a 21.1km relay race for teams of 4. The start and finish for all races are at the Kinder- und Jugendhaus Tangstedt, Brummerackerweg 10. The race courses are measured by GPS, not officially surveyed. Aid stations are located at the intersection of Brummerackerweg and Wulfsmühlenweg, and at the corner of Hasloher Weg. The event also includes a separate competition for the Hamburger Betriebssportverband (BSV) for specific races. The atmosphere is generally positive, though high summer temperatures can affect participation.
