Winnender Wengert Wetzede 2026

Winnender Wengert Wetzede is a charity run in Winnenden-Hanweiler, Baden-Wurttemberg, held as part of the Hanweilermer Herbstfest. It is not focused on places or times; participants run, jog, walk, or take short breaks, with each completed lap generating a donation from a sponsor chosen by the participant. The loop measures approximately 840 metres and passes through the local vineyard area. The format encourages completing as many laps as desired rather than adhering to a fixed distance. Individuals and groups are welcome, and the event is open to participants from ages 2 to 100. Sponsors may include family members, employers, clubs, or the runners themselves, with a minimum pledge of 1.50 euros per lap. Funds raised support local social projects, such as Discover e.V. in Winnenden and the BRH Rettungshundestaffel Rems-Murr rescue dog team. Event organization is also supported by donations.
