The Wittener Abendlauf is an evening road race at Kemnader See in Bochum, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Participants can select either a 5 km or 10 km distance, with a walking option available for the 5 km course. The event's timing gives it its name: the 5 km run and walk begins at 19:00, and the 10 km race starts at 20:00.
The start line is located by the Seglerheim at Kemnader See, connecting the race to the lake area on Bochum's southern edge rather than the city center.
