The Aste Nagusia City Race is a 6 km run in Bilbao, held as part of the Aste Nagusia festival. It begins and ends on Calle de la Viuda de Epalza, near San Nicolás church, placing runners in the historic city center. This marks the event's 24th year, with participant numbers similar to recent editions.
The course crosses the Arenal bridge, runs along Bilbao's estuary, passes the Maritime Museum, and returns to the original finish line. The race typically sees several hundred finishers; in the recorded edition, over 600 men and more than 200 women were classified. Diego Cuadrado from Cantabria won the men's race in 18:04, achieving a repeat victory and a faster time than before, while Nerea Eugenia Iturriaga of Getxo finished first among the women.
