Aquathlon de Roanne

The Aquathlon de Roanne is a swim-run race held in Roanne, located in the Loire department of France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, with editions scheduled for early March. It features two primary distances: the S race includes a 1 km swim followed by a 5 km road run, and the XS race consists of a 500 m swim and a 2.5 km road run. The event takes place in Roanne’s center, utilizing an urban environment and a public park, giving it the feel of a compact city race rather than an extended countryside event. Races for children and juniors are also available. The range of distances accommodates beginners, while also providing experienced aquathlon athletes with a challenging early-season competition.
