La Nordique de Narbonne is a Nordic walking event held at the Domaine de Montplaisir in Narbonne, located in the Aude department of southern France. The event is centered entirely on Nordic walking, featuring a timed 12.7 km race for participants and a 10 km untimed option, La Virée Narbonnaise, for those who prefer the same environment without the pressure of time.
The primary race consists of four loops and involves 232 meters of elevation gain, requiring consistent pacing and solid technique over a casual pace. This race also functions as a departmental and regional championship, while the Virée Narbonnaise offers a way for less competitive walkers to participate. The Narbo Nordik Club organizes the event, with Sud Chrono managing the timing. The event's amenities include coaching, attentive supervision, refreshment stations along the route and at the finish line, required waste bins at aid stations, and additional activities like Rando Aude Solidarité and La Narbo Kids.
