The Corfu Old Town Trail begins at Liston Square, leading runners directly into the narrow streets and notable areas of Corfu’s old town. This city trail race on the island of Corfu typically takes place near the close of the tourist season, in September or October. It offers 14 km and 7 km single-loop courses. The 14 km race is the main event and the most chosen option, starting in the evening with a cutoff time of approximately two and a half hours.
The course crosses the UNESCO-listed old town, utilizing the city itself as the trail instead of heading into the mountains. Participants will pass both the Old Fortress and the New Fortress, as well as historic palaces like Saint Michael and Saint George. The Municipality of Central Corfu and Corfu Mountain Trail organize the event. A free race for parents and children, co-organized with the Region of Ionian Islands, is part of the broader program. This race marks its 12th edition, returning after a year's absence.
