第2回Nordisk Mountain Trail in YAMANASHI CHUO 2026

The Nordisk Mountain Trail in Yamanashi Chuo begins and ends at YSKe-com Silk Park in Chuo City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. This trail running race takes place in late September and offers two distance options: a long course of approximately 25 km and a short course of approximately 12 km. Each distance has a limit of 250 participants, making it a relatively small event compared to larger city races. Entry fees are 7,000 yen for the long course and 5,000 yen for the short course. The course follows the natural terrain around Taira Mountain and Yamanokami Senbonzakura, providing views of farmland and toward Yatsugatake and Kitadake. The short course includes sufficient elevation changes for a varied run, while the long course is designed for those seeking a more challenging mountain run. This event is in its second year and is organized by Chuo City to showcase the area's mountains, satoyama, hills, and rural scenery via trail running. Post-race, participants can enjoy Tomato Yakisoba, prepared with local Chuo City tomatoes, and Koshu Fujizakura pork.
