The Haute Ardenne Ultra Trail Festival takes place over a June weekend in Trois-Ponts, Belgium, headquartered at Landal Park Les Gottales. All race distances commence and conclude at this mountain-top location, situated approximately 500 meters above sea level. From this vantage point, participants are afforded expansive views of the Ardennes region before and after their efforts. This event caters to those who prefer sustained, steep ascents over flat, rapid running.
The courses traverse notable features of the Haute Ardenne, incorporating the ascent from the Coo waterfalls and sections shaped by the Ambleve and tributaries within the Pays des Sources. Beyond the race itself, the festival offers on-site accommodation in bungalows adjacent to the event hub. The finish area provides amenities such as music, a campfire, regional beer, and an authentic Ardennes atmosphere. As a relatively new festival, it has a limited number of past editions.
