Koningsloop Hasselt is a King's Day road race held in Hasselt, Overijssel, featuring 5k and 10k races that begin in the town center. The event also offers a Bambino run for very young children, a Junior category for ages 12 to 15, and a Heroes Run. One past edition saw 624 participants, with ages spanning from 1 to 79, indicating its appeal to local families as well as competitive runners.
The course leads participants past the mill and over the Stenendijk. The initial kilometers are open before the route circles back via Zandvoortweg and the old center. The finish line incorporates Hasselt landmarks such as the Justitie Bastion and Burgemeester Royerplein. The 10k race consists of two laps of this same fast course. Participants have traveled from Hasselt, Rouveen, Zwolle, and Hindeloopen. The race is organized by Trainingsgroep Het Zwartewater, with assistance from Oranjevereniging Hasselt.
