Aktywny Dzień Dziecka - Biegiem po Medal - Pniewy

Aktywny Dzień Dziecka - Biegiem po Medal is a family running event in Pniewy, held in the Municipal Park by the local high school as part of Children’s Day. It features short races for children, with age and gender categories so very young kids and older children are not all lined up together. The youngest category runs 100 metres, while the children’s distances go up to 1000 metres. The afternoon program also includes animations and other attractions, allowing families to stay in the park before and after the races. The organizer is Klub Biegowo-Sportowy Aktywnie w Pniewach, with support from the Municipality of Pniewy. Every participant receives a medal, aligning with the event name's idea: run for a medal, while remaining friendly and accessible. Parents can participate in a companion 3 km run for adults, free with electronic registration. The event is past its fifth edition, usually draws well over a hundred registered participants, and limits the field to 150 places.
