Bieg w pogoni za zubrem translates to “Race in pursuit of the bison.” This name suits a Niepolomice event centered on a playful chase into the forest. Participants begin at noon by the Royal Castle in Niepolomice, Malopolskie. Two primary options are available: a short 8 km race or a longer 15 km run. Earlier in the morning, children’s races commence, making the day suitable for families and adult runners alike.
The course begins on asphalt roads within the town before transitioning to paths in the Niepolomice Forest. It includes gravel and asphalt segments, plus a section along the forest's edge. The 8 km option is a quicker, more direct route, whereas the 15 km version offers more time off-road. The start and finish are located near the Royal Castle. The race is associated with the Mayor of Niepolomice City Cup. Junior races feature distinct routes, a participant cap, and medals and refreshments at the finish for younger runners.
