In Lubartów, Tropem Wilczym - The Run of Remembrance for the Cursed Soldiers is a local event within a national memorial running project observed on the National Day of Remembrance of Cursed Soldiers. The Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Lubartów organizes the local race, while the Wolność i Demokracja Foundation collaborates on the overall series. Participants can select either a 1,963-meter Honorary Run or a 5 km Main Run.
The Lubartów race directs participants through the town's streets, forming part of Poland's largest memorial run. The 1,963-meter distance holds symbolic meaning, and the wider Tropem Wilczym project unites approximately 70,000 runners across over 300 locations in Poland and internationally. This race honors Polish fighters who maintained resistance in Poland after World War II, marking the most significant mass event associated with the national day of remembrance.
