Festival de la Course du Boucher is a mountain running event in the Bieszczady mountains, featuring races from a 5 km run to an approximately 80 km mountain challenge. The main Course du Boucher is the longest, the Petit Boucher covers 28 km, and the Rzeźnicka Piątka offers a 5 km option, ensuring the weekend caters to more than just ultra runners.
The routes utilize the Bieszczady's strengths: wild hills, mud, and climbs with a tough reputation. All races conclude in Cisna, where tired legs are expected. Following the run, participants can relax on the Bieszczady Forest Railway, a small train that travels through open mountain pastures near the race location.
