The Ślężański Running Festival is a mountain running event held at the shelter in Sobótka, located at the base of Mount Ślęża in southwestern Poland. Taking place in September, it features four race options: a 43 km mountain marathon covering 1,750 m of elevation gain, a 23 km half marathon with 1,050 m of climbing, a 10.5 km race gaining 450 m, and a three-person relay with varying stage distances.
The races emphasize Ślęża Mountain's steep ascents and challenging descents over flat terrain. The festival originated from the Górski Półmaraton Ślężański im. Adama Palichleba and continues in his memory. It attracts a diverse range of participants, from short-distance mountain runners to marathoners and relay squads, with each race eligible for the ITRA National League. The event maintains a modest scale, with its largest attendance reaching 509 participants.
