The Bieg Wolności w Ursusie is a short family race held in Warsaw's Ursus district, covering a symbolic distance of 1,989 meters. It begins at 11:00 in front of the Ursus District Office, located at Plac Czerwca 1976 roku 1. This race commemorates the first partially free elections in post-war Poland. The event is noted as its sixth edition in the source material, despite the series name suggesting the seventh.
The race is designed for adults and children, not exclusively for regular runners. Awards are given in open women's and men's categories, along with local prizes for the fastest Ursus residents, male and female. The organizers also recognize the youngest and oldest participants. The largest school group from Ursus will receive a 1,000 PLN voucher for sports equipment.
