Beh pre dobrú vec is a short charity run in Pača, a village in the Rožňava district of Slovakia’s Košice region. The main race is about 4.4 km, with children starting earlier and adults starting later. It is organized by Občianske združenie Bučina, and the entry setup keeps the event simple: adults pay a small fee, while children up to 15 run for free.
The course starts from the football field in Pača and uses a mix of surfaces, roughly 70% asphalt and 30% dirt road. Children, juniors, adults, and veterans all have categories, with shorter races for younger runners and a medal plus refreshments included for registered participants. The point of the race is practical help: the proceeds support families in difficult life situations, and one edition donated the full amount raised to a boy with autism spectrum disorder.
