The Haunted 5K & 10K begins at 221 N 11th St in Akron, Pennsylvania. Both distances start at 8:00 AM in October. The route is a short out-and-back design. 5K participants complete it twice, while 10K participants complete it four times. Packet pickup is available 30 minutes before the start and concludes 10 minutes prior. Registration must be completed through RunSignup, as no race-day signups are permitted. The Haunted theme aligns with US Road Running's typical logoed, themed races that include finisher medals and a best-costume contest for those embracing the Halloween spirit.

The Phoenixville Run is a community race held at Reeves Park in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, offering in-person 5K and 10K races that begin in the morning. A kids' Fun Run for ages 12 and under is also part of the event, alongside a virtual challenge for those who prefer to run away from the park. This local event, now in its 40th year, takes place in late October. The in-person races begin and end at Reeves Park on 3rd Avenue. Virtual runners may use their own routes on the same day. Participants can select the park race, the virtual challenge, or both. The race incorporates a superhero theme, encouraging costumes for adults and children, with awards for individual and group costumes, and small prizes for the children's Fun Run.

The Delaware Running Festival includes four races at Tubman Garrett Riverfront Park in Wilmington: a marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K. This spring event is designed for many types of runners, with the shorter races offering the same atmosphere as the marathon and half. The marathon route covers downtown Wilmington, the riverfront, and the Jack Markell Trail.
