20th Annual Run for Riley 5 Mile & 5K
Run for Riley is a Fort Wayne race organized by the Fort Wayne Running Club to support Riley Children's Hospital. Participants can choose a chip-timed 5-mile race or a 5K, suitable for those aiming for a personal best and those preferring a shorter community run.
Both races begin at Maple Creek Middle School, proceed along the paved Fort Wayne Greenway trails, and then diverge onto separate courses for the 5-mile and 5K. All participants conclude on the school track. The event continues in the school cafeteria, featuring a silent auction, 5-mile awards, treats, and snacks.
The Community Health Clinic 5k: Walk for Rare, Run for Hope
The Community Health Clinic 5k: Walk for Rare, Run for Hope begins and ends at the clinic on East North Street in Shipshewana, Indiana, adjacent to the Pumpkinvine Trail and the Cove youth center. The primary event is a 5k run or walk along an out-and-back course, featuring a clock for participants who wish to monitor their own times. The morning also features a Kids Big Wheel Race for ages 3 to 7, with big wheels supplied.

The Sandhill Crane All Trail Half Marathon/10K/5K takes place at Dr. T. K. Lawless County Park, an 820-acre park in Vandalia, Michigan. The event is limited to 500 participants, uses chip timing, and provides fruit at the finish. Finishers get custom long-sleeve performance shirts, top finishers receive laser-cut wood awards, and second and third place finishers in each age group receive medals. Proceeds benefit Dowagiac Rotary charities and Cass County Parks.
Heartline Donut Dash Walk/Run for Life 5k
The Heartline Donut Dash Walk/Run for Life is a community 5K in Warsaw, Indiana, held in October starting at the Health Services Pavilion on Provident Drive.
