The Bell Ringer Trail Run guides participants through challenging terrain at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, Tennessee. The race begins at 1000 Hotel Avenue within the park. Offering three distances—50K, 25K, and 15K—it caters to ultrarunners, marathon-distance runners, and those seeking a shorter, yet rigorous, state-park challenge.
The 50K commences at 7:00 AM CST, with the 25K starting at 8:30 AM and the 15K at 9:00 AM. This schedule allows additional time on the course for longer-distance participants. The inaugural edition of the race was documented by Eve Annunziato. It is part of a broader initiative to introduce more trail-running events in Tennessee state parks and promote active living.
