The Fair Election 5K is a 3.1-mile run or walk in Falmouth, Maine. The start is on Woodville Road, at the driveway between Falmouth High School and Falmouth Middle School. This community race supports local veterans through the Sons of Amvets Post 25 and is dedicated to the memory of John Howe.
The out-and-back course turns left onto Field Road. It reaches its turnaround near Watts Farm Way, about 1.5 miles in, and finishes back at the midpoint of the school driveway. Competitors can vie for cash prizes, overall awards, age-group awards, and a team award for groups of four or more. The course records are 16:57 for men and 21:20 for women. A 50/50 raffle is also part of the day, along with a commemorative pint glass for early registrants. An all-you-can-eat pizza buffet follows at the Foreside House of Pi.
