Frosty 5 & Mistletoe Mile

Ugly sweaters are part of the point at the Frosty 5 & Mistletoe Mile, a Christmas Eve morning road race in Downtown Hudson, Ohio. The event pairs a 5-mile Frosty 5 with a 1-mile Mistletoe Mile, allowing participants to choose a longer holiday race or a short walk/run. Both distances accommodate walkers and strollers, and the race is designed for casual runners, families, walkers, and those seeking a chip-timed competitive effort. The races utilize the streets around Hudson, with the Hudson Visitors Center on East Main Street serving as the event base. The Mistletoe Mile begins first, followed by the Frosty 5, and awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers and to age-group winners in 5-year increments. Costumes are encouraged, Santa and reindeer might be seen on the course, and proceeds benefit Destination Hudson. Western Reserve Racing organizes it as one of its chip-timed road races, with archived results available from 2013.
