Frosty Looper is an 8-hour timed race held at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Runners complete laps on a 3.75-mile park loop between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. This event, presented by HOKA, is the shorter winter counterpart to the Loopy Looper, designed for those aiming for a distance personal record, attempting their first ultra-marathon, or seeking to accumulate as many laps as possible before time expires.
The loop is fast, flat, and entirely paved, incorporating approximately 100 meters of rubber track. Participants will see views of the Philadelphia skyline and the waterfront. The course allows frequent access to personal aid stations and features a well-supplied aid station. A Wawa convenience store is also located along the course, making the race suitable for beginners and those targeting high mileage. Laps cannot begin after 3:30 PM, and incomplete laps are not counted. Instead of medals, finishers receive practical winter gear. Awards are presented to the top three overall women and men. Runners who also finish the Loopy Looper are eligible for a unique hybrid medal.
