FSR 100 is a 100-mile race held on October 10th along forest service roads in the mountains of Tennessee and North Georgia. The start and finish are at YMCA Camp Ocoee in Ocoee, Tennessee. The route is designed for runners seeking mountain terrain with non-technical footing.
The course is a single, long loop on remote forest service roads, featuring over 11,000 feet of elevation gain. Race materials describe the rolling terrain as runnable. Runners will encounter mountain views, rivers, and fall foliage. Navigation requires careful attention: the course is marked with orange Project 42 Running flags and white turn signs, and a GPX file and AllTrails route are provided.
