Groton City Brew Run

The Groton City Brew Run is an annual 5K run and walk held at Eastern Point Beach in Groton, Connecticut. Participants begin in a single mass start, with the race commencing late morning. The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce and Groton Utilities present this event, offering registration for the 5K alone or for the 5K with beer garden access. The course is situated at Eastern Point Beach on Beach Pond Road, focusing the event on Groton’s shoreline rather than a downtown street loop. Following the 5K, the event transitions into a brewfest featuring music and food. A free kids run for children 10 and under is available with pre-registration. Tech shirts will be provided to 5K participants while supplies last, awarded based on registration order. This race is part of the Kelley’s Pace Race Series.
