The Inclusion 5K Walk/Run/Roll is an annual summer fundraiser in Colliers, West Virginia. It takes place at the Panhandle trail parking area on Mc Coll Road. This 5K event is open to runners, walkers, and wheelchair users, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Race-day packet pickup is available before the start, and an awards ceremony follows once most participants have completed the course. The Coalition for Disability Inclusion organizes this event as its sole annual fundraiser. Proceeds benefit CDI's efforts to provide information, advocate for programs and services, and foster social opportunities for Northern Panhandle West Virginians with disabilities.
The course is a flat, paved out-and-back trail, ensuring a shared start and finish point and straightforward logistics. Volunteers staff the course, and the event is designed to accommodate families and participants with varying mobility requirements. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female finishers within age categories ranging from youth to 50+. The event also offers flexibility in participation: shirts are available in unisex sizes up to 3X, and runners may opt out of a shirt for a slight price reduction.
