Kick Out Mesothelioma 5-Miler & 2.5 Mile Walk In Memory of John W. Griffin

Kick Out Mesothelioma is a 5-mile run and a 2.5-mile walk held annually in Portland, Maine, each November. The run begins at Cutter Street and Eastern Promenade at 10 AM. Walkers start from the Bayside Trail entrance on Sewage Treatment Plant Road. Packet pickup is available at Marathon Sports on Marginal Way, with Pine Tree Race Services managing the timing. Griffin, a pipefitter, Navy veteran, and City Councilor who passed away from mesothelioma following a brief cancer diagnosis.
