Little Bat Dash

The Little Bat Dash is a children's run in Indianapolis, part of the Historic Irvington Halloween Festival. This is a short race: 1/8 mile around Irving Circle Park, located south of the Halloween Festival Street Fair Kids Zone. The race begins late morning from the arch on South Audubon Road, north of the park. Children compete in five age-group heats: 10-12, 7-9, 5-6, 3-4, and 2 and under. The first wave lines up just before the start, and subsequent waves begin after the prior group has mostly finished. Participants receive a commemorative Little Bat Dash bib at packet pickup in Irving Circle Park, which is also used for the Vampire Run. An early pickup option is available at Irvington Preparatory Academy before race day.
