Lynchburg UltraFest

Lynchburg UltraFest is a 24-hour ultrarunning event held in Lynchburg, Virginia's Riverside Park. It begins at 8:00 PM and concludes at 8:00 PM the following evening. The event accommodates both solo runners and teams, with the entire race taking place within the confines of a single city park, rather than utilizing roads or trails. The course consists of a 0.84-mile paved loop. Runners will pass the start-finish area, located near the gazebo and caboose, on each lap. This configuration simplifies logistics, eliminating the need for shuttles or point-to-point race planning. Participants will focus on completing repeated laps and pushing their endurance limits. The event is presented as the first of its kind in Lynchburg, designed for individuals seeking to extend their usual running distances.
