Old Town Rudolph Run

Old Town Rudolph Run is a holiday-themed 5K in Old Town Leander, Texas, where runners are encouraged to wear festive attire. It is a chip-timed race, but also open to walkers, strollers, and friendly leashed dogs, broadening the field beyond those aiming for a fast time. The event typically occurs in December and has limited entries; each participant receives a shirt and a custom finisher medal. The route begins in the heart of Old Town and proceeds along closed streets through Leander. The course is flat and quick, without hills or rough terrain, making it suitable for first-timers and practical for those with strollers. Timing and the finish line remain active for 75 minutes after the start, and later finishers can collect their medal from the Leander Chamber of Commerce. Post-race festivities include children’s activities, food trailers, entertainment, and Santa.
